Blues 101

Veteran bluesman Ramblin’ Dan Stevens will present Blues 101 at Bill Memorial Library on Thursday, April 24, at 6 PM. The presentation covers the history of blues in the United States from its origins in the African-American tradition of the deep south to the present. Stevens combines historical images and video with live music played on vintage instruments.

Stevens is a touring musician and teacher who has entertained audiences in the U.S., Europe, Canada and the Virgin Islands.
