Join the monthly gathering of creative companions in Norwich
Come join a group of creative companions seeking a spiritual path to higher creativity at the monthly gathering of The Creative Way group beginning on Thursday, November 14, at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist worship and gathering center at 67-69 Main Street in downtown Norwich.
Inspired by the work of Julie Cameron, author of “The Artist’s Way,” “Living the Artist’s Way,” and many books on creativity as a spiritual practice, the monthly Creative Way gathering invites participants to share the joys and challenges of living creatively with daily writing practice called “morning pages” as well as regular mindfulness walks and artist’s playdates.
The series of gatherings turns for inspiration to the work of Karen Armstrong and her book “Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life,” a plan of practice to bring love and compassion into daily living.
Members of the group facilitate the monthly gatherings on a rotating basis. Participants bring snacks to share. We request a donation of $50 for the 12 sessions. Purchase a copy of “Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life” or request one to be provided.
