Rhythm Rendezvous Concert Series
The Temple Beth Israel Preservation Society invites you for an extraordinary night of jazz celebrating Temple Beth Israel’s historic 75th Anniversary! Our first ever Rhythm Rendezvous concert will feature world renowned jazz legend Greg Abate and his All-Star Quintet, including Phil Palonen, Diamond Centofanti, Lou Bocciarelli, and Zac Casher.
All proceeds from this event will support bringing an educational curriculum to thousands of Connecticut’s middle, high school, and college students teaching lessons that combat discrimination, bullying, and hate through the words of adults whose parents survived the Holocaust. The concert will also support the completion of a physical space at Temple Beth Israel that will house historical documents, letters, and first-hand recorded accounts of the life journeys of more than 70 families of GIs, Holocaust Survivors, and founders of the community. The completion of this Archive Center will provide worldwide access to individuals, schools, and scholars interested in this work.
