TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE LIBRARY DAY!!
The Bill Memorial Library invites you to visit the library on Saturday, February 1, 2025 to celebrate the 14th annual Take Your Child to the Library Day. Children and their families can stop between 10:00 AM-2:00 PM for crafts, snacks and more! Participate in a scavenger hunt and earn a free book. Be part of a fantasy world photo shoot in front of our green screen. The library will be giving away a jar full of chocolate to the lucky winner who comes closest to guessing the correct number of pieces in the candy jar. An art exhibit by the children of the Riverfront Children’s Center will be on display. Get in on the fun and be sure to check out a book with your library card! For more information call the library at 860-445-0392.
Take Your Child to the Library Day is an international grass-roots event first suggested by Nadine Lipman, Children’s Librarian at the Waterford Public Library, with over 1000 libraries across the country and around the world currently participating.
